AAFA's Asthma and Health Insurance Chatbot

AAFA's new chatbot is our latest innovative tool to help the asthma community. 

The chatbot is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on AAFA's Facebook page to help people get answers to their questions about asthma or health insurance. Simply use Facebook Messenger to start chatting.

The prototype chatbot uses artificial intelligence and can discuss:

  • Managing and controlling asthma
  • Asthma treatments
  • How to deal with asthma triggers
  • Enrolling in health insurance
  • Understanding health insurance
  • How to find out about your insurance benefits

As the chatbot learns from its conversations, it will expand its knowledge base to deliver asthma information. At this time, the chatbot cannot answer questions about food allergies, drug allergies, insect sting allergies, eczema or other allergic conditions.
