AAFA focuses on improving asthma and allergic disease awareness and understanding, and advancing basic and clinical research to prevent, treat and cure these conditions. AAFA participates in the national policy-making process to influence public policies and identify priorities on a broad set of issues. AAFA works with key decision-makers, policy-makers and other health stakeholders to help shape legislation and regulation that impact people with asthma and allergies. Our nationwide network of advocates and our ongoing collaboration with several coalitions help us to achieve many legislative successes.
